The Murata Group expresses deep sorrow for the victims of the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, and our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by the disaster.
We will do our utmost to support those affected and sincerely hope for a swift recovery.

We are continuing to confirm the safety of employees at our production sites affected by the earthquake, as well as that of their families. However, we remain unable to account for all employees at some sites located close to the epicenter, including Anamizu Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. In the future, we will continue to make this confirmation our highest priority.
Furthermore, we will strive to minimize any impacts to our supply chain while sharing information and cooperating with our business partners.
The Murata Group will methodically resume production at its production sites once we have confirmed the status of infrastructure and equipment and ensured the safety of employees.
The status of production and an estimated schedule of the resumption of production after January 5 are provided below.
This information will be updated as soon as there are any changes in the situation.

The results of an assessment inside the plant indicate that equipment and building need to repair before production can be resumed.
As this process will require more than four months.
Therefore, production is expected to resume in mid-May or later.
After the resumption of production, shipments will be resumed methodically as soon as preparations are complete.(appended on Jan.19)
